Big Vicious Featuring Ester Rada

Critically acclaimed artist and trumpeter Avishai Cohen started Big Vicious, with his esteemed jazz ensemble, to give a voice and place to creative collaborations in new and exciting fields. The project began in New York, creating a unique sound, combining Rock’n’roll, Psychedelic, Groove, Jazz, Electronica and Trip hop (to name a few), all under their cohesive yet singular sound of Avishai Cohen.

The ensemble developed and changed through the years, with a long line of interesting guests taking part in its great shows. The new format has taken some time off to finetune its renewed sound, and we are all given the opportunity to meet them once again on the stage of this festival, better than ever.

This time they will host one of Israel’s greatest soul vocalists, Ester Rada, the queen of Groove and elegance, who brings to the stage another dimension to the band’s rich and fascinating musical quality.
