Six": works of dance, movement and vocals"
“Six”
Dance, Movement, and Voice Performance
Intimate and intelligent dance pieces presenting dialogues with the body and space, conversations with nature and human nature, a deep connection to the heart, and even a game of jump rope with mom.
Within the festival program, six dance works are interwoven, created and tailored for the artistic space, and placed in galleries of visual art. They engage with the space, absorb context and inspiration, and bring live art of body, voice, and movement into the museum setting. These works are part of an artistic process that began 60 days prior to the festival.
Performed by fourth-year dancers of the Choreography Program at the Academy of Music and Dance.
