Experimental, contemplative and sincere, musician, composer and author Jiri Stivin inspires a sense of freedom and courage. Stivin works in a range of styles and formats – from live Jazz, Renaissance and Baroque concerts, to film and theatre soundtracks. After performing on many stages throughout Europe and the U.S., Stivin recently founded a Jazz trio – Stivin (flute and sax), Jaroslav Sindler (guitar), and his son Jiri Stivin Jr. (drums).
The trio’s two shows at the Festival will offer a chance to experience the perfect sense of freedom it evokes.
With the kind support of the Czech Centre.
