The Jerusalem Jazz Festival is excited to host Grammy Award-winning artist Rickie Lee Jones, who has just released her sixteenth album, “The Other Side of Desire.” She will be performing material chosen from the large and varied repertoire of her 35-year career.
Jones will be performing new arrangements of her original songs with the Project, led by pianist and arranger Tomer Bar. The Project, which was formed in 1999, is known for its original collaborations with leading Israeli artists such as Alon Oleartchik, Yoni Rechter, Shlomo Gronich, Efrat Gosh, and Maor Cohen.
The Project includes Tomer Bar on piano, Yuri Oron on bass, Ofri Nehemya on drums, and Yael Shapira on cello.
