“Things happening in our everyday lives are what our experiences rely on and cling to in the attempt not to get lost in the real dimension where there is no past, present, or future,” writes Camilla Battaglia. In her new album, Battaglia explores time in its philosophical, musical and scientific sense, inviting listeners to let go of the sense of familiar time and place.
With Andrea Lombardini (bass), Bernardo Guerra (drums), and Michele Tino (sax), at the young age of 28 Battaglia already brings to the stage a warm, soulful voice of a mature and experienced Jazz singer. In 2010 she released her debut album with Renato Sellani Trio, and the first album she composed was ranked among the top 100 Greatest Jazz Albums by Jazzit in 2016.
A deep, inspiring and thought-provoking Jazz experience.
