“Archived Melodies” - The Shrine of the Book Complex | Maayan Linik and Elisaf Bashari | cello and oud duo

Maayan Linik (vocals, cello) and Elisaf Bashari (oud, percussion) will unfold before us the mysterious magic of the shrine filled with sounds and rhythms thanks to Linik’s original music. The singer-artist is on the verge of recording her debut album, which is entirely her own creation, writing and composition. Her writing and performance are a combination of subtlety and precision with a strong basis of groove and rhythm. Specially for the Shrine of the Book, where the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited, Maayan and Elisaf have created a duo performance that is acoustic and intimate, subtle yet full of spice, which will take the listeners on a journey through distant worlds.
