Sababa 5

A beloved rhythm band that transports listeners back to the 60s and 70s, Sababa 5 brings a unique blend of Mediterranean rhythms and melodies with rock, funk, and psychedelic sounds. Deeply planted in the Israeli groove scene, the band has played with artists such as Gili Yalo, Liraz Charhi, the Hoodna Orchestra, Tigris, and Armon.

The band is influenced by legendary American musicians like the Wrecking Crew and The Funk Brothers, as well as Israeli  60s and 70s rhythm bands.  The fusion of East and West, along with the fresh spirit brought by the band members, creates a unique, original, sweeping sound.
