The Doari family meets the Wertheim family

What goes on inside our bodies when we tap intuitively into landmarks of our past?
We set out together to research the common ground of motion, sound and rhythm, that travel across the timeline of our own biographies – both our personal and family tales.
Itamar Doari, a master of percussion and one of the country’s busiest musicians, meets Rina Wertheim-Koren – dancer, teacher and artistic director of Vertigo dance company. The two travel back to childhood, through growing up and leaving home, creating a new family cell and finally to that present moment – where you yourself are present, looking back to your sources, and returning to the person you have become today.
These points in time are the subject of this new creation, that is weaved into a soundtrack of movement and tones that come to life onstage.
