France
French pianist, composer, arranger, and musical director Christophe Chassol uses powerful imagery/visuals alongside natural and human sounds and noises – birds chirping, whistling, speaking, singing, wind, singing, and rain, blending them to create an extraordinary tune, which he calls: “the harmony of reality.”
Using looping devices, drums and mostly – his wild imagination, Chassol takes us on a unique musical journey, accompanied by visual repetitive/meditative visual objects. He had dubbed all this “Ultrascore” – a transient sonic relationship and a singular experience!
Chassol will present two different shows:
Big Sun is Chassol’s fourth album – a spectacular documentary piece created after a roots trip to the Caribbean island Martinique. Chassol will perform with his drummer Mathieu Edward in a full, energetic, and powerful show. The presence of drums on stage will bring to the experience a fascinating intensity, merging with the new world born in a one-time show.
