The Israeli stage - Thursday

Israel

The Jerusalem Jazz Festival embraces the jazz community and the musicians studying in academic institutions in the country. As an integral part of the festival’s fabric, there are woven performances, workshops, special encounters, and excellent musicians who come from prominent music schools in Israel.

With the participation of musicians and dance students from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and musicians and sound artists from the Musera School of New Music, you can meet the musicians on the Israeli stage in modern art halls and at the Carter Center. As the audience ascends the stairs to the festival, they will encounter groups of musicians playing together intentionally, leading them into our world.

The stage at the Israeli Gallery will host three performances a day by the official ensembles of the schools under the guidance of Israeli jazz masters.
