“The White Wall” Stage: Wednesday Program
Featuring students from the leading Music Academies
The Jerusalem Jazz Festival embraces the jazz community and musicians studying at academic institutions across Israel. Performances, improvisations, special encounters, and excellent players from Israel’s most prominent higher education schools are woven into the very fabric of the festival. You can find musicians, dancers, students, and alumni from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance on “The White Wall” stage and in various spaces throughout the Sculpture Garden. Additionally, as you climb the stairs into the festival, you will be met by groups of musicians playing together, both improvised and composed, leading and connecting us to the living rhythm of the event.
“The White Wall” stage hosts two daily performances by the official school ensembles, led by Israeli jazz masters.
