Abate Berihun
A legendary saxophonist and one of the pioneers of Israeli Ethio-jazz. He has played and performed with groundbreaking artists in Israel and abroad, including Mulatu Astatke, Mahmoud Ahmed, Ehud Banai, Ariel Zilber, and many others. Berihun brings a unique, deeply rooted, soulful sound that bridges tradition and modernity, Ethiopia and Israel.
Gal (Gladys) Lazer
A phenomenal drummer and musical nomad who lives and works across continents. He has played with the American psych-rock band Thee Oh Sees, acclaimed artist Yonatan Gat, Brazilian musician Sessa, and others. Gal’s sound ranges from hypnotic groove to wild intricacy—always with a distinct pulse and unmistakable sense of rhythm, even when it’s full of mistakes.
Max Oleartchik
A bassist rooted in jazz who fluidly moves across genres. After relocating to New York, he played with rock bands such as Big Thief, performed around the world, and returned to Israel to create with diverse musicians. His work strives to blend depth with adventure, roots and dreams—a solid foundation that’s always in motion.
